Ikebana International – Denver Chapter 66
Ikebana International (I.I.) is a non-profit cultural organization headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and dedicated to promoting and appreciating Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging. It was founded in 1956 by the late Ellen Gordon Allen who promoted the aim of fostering international fellowship through the study of Ikebana. With the motto, “Friendship Through Flowers,” I.I. has over 10,000 members from over 60 countries.
We are one of over 130 chapters Worldwide and part of the Ikebana International North & Central American Region (NCAR), a headquarters for the North and Central American regional chapters.

Ikebana Denver Chapter 66
Our chapter was founded in 1962 and includes members from several Ikebana schools including Ikenobo, Ohara, Sangetsu, and Sogetsu. Select an icon above to find classes and teachers representing these various schools in the Denver area.
Throughout the year we hold workshops and presentations featuring demonstrations by arrangers of the various schools and related cultural programs. We also participate in various public exhibitions displaying our members’ work.
